“THIS IS HOW I FEEL”
is a female-run art show, exploring emotions pertinent to the feminine experience. my installation explores a indecivenes - its roots, triggers, and manifestations.
i have nothing to wear
the first decision i face - one that subconsiously will influence all subsequent decisions i make that day and those others will make in my presence
shadow projection, email and alarm clock screen recordings.
what do i want? what do YOU want?
a juxtaposion of mental overactivity and bodily paralyzation
vintage nightgown, oil paint, thread, silk fabric, wax, concrete.

exposed
teared + collaged momentos. the lamp illuminates vulnerable journal entries and the triptych is comprised of sun prints on expired photo paper. the thoughts on the paper and sun-yielded images are both unhibited and uncontrollable. collaging all of the inherently imperect visual constituents was the only practice that felt 100% in my control.
paper scraps, silk fabric, and wired lightbulb.
